The name Fèvi-cî Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Fèvi-cî Bî was founded by Saelheneb Dyeshê, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Fèvi-cî Bî has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Fèvi-cî Bî receives an average of 176 cm/y (69 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Fèvi-cî Bî covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 10466 m (-8612 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Fèvi-cî Bî was founded durring the late 17th century in late spring of the year 1584, by Saelheneb Dyeshê. The establishment of Fèvi-cî Bî was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Saelheneb Dyeshê struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Fèvi-cî Bî as a prison colony.
Fèvi-cî Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fèvi-cî Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Fèvi-cî Bî is is constructed arround a series of crampt cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is protected by a series of wooden fences ringing the town's parimiter, which are likly intended to keep varrious beasts out of town rather than protect it from attack by any intelegent agents. Fèvi-cî Bî's bare minimum defences are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.
A look around Fèvi-cî Bî has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Fèvi-cî Bî long.
Civic Infrastructure
Fèvi-cî Bî has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Fèvi-cî Bî.
Fèvi-cî Bî has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Fèvi-cî Bî has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Fèvi-cî Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Fèvi-cî Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Fèvi-cî Bî possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Fèvi-cî Bî's grid is powered by an arcane means.
Fèvi-cî Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Fèvi-cî Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Fèvi-cî Bî's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.
Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is skipped in Fèvi-cî Bî.
The Firbolg near Fèvi-cî Bî are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Fèvi-cî Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves sacrificing an animal to channel Mysticism energies of tier 1 via throat chanting.
Economy
The following information was obtained via the Imperial Census Bureau as part of the Eyom Economic Outreach Program. It differs from Standard Imperial censuses in that many of Tom's citizens, regardless of culture, work in more than one occupation or hold more than a single job. History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Fèvi-cî Bî was attacked by a slaver gang capable of fielding large forces. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Fèvi-cî Bî lost 146 people, 170 livestock, and 56 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 178, when members of Fèvi-cî Bî's militia enacted an operation to extract assets from a prison under siege by the enemy. The operation was complicated by a natural disaster interrupted the operation, shattering unit cohesion. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a crushing defeat for Fèvi-cî Bî's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Fèvi-cî Bî's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
